Environmental Expo returns to help keiki learn how to protect Hawaii
HONOLULU (KHON2) — The celebration of Earth month brings the annual Mauka to Makai Environmental Expo back to life.
This event is back for its 17th year in a row.
It’s free to the public and highlights the importance of keeping Hawaii’s community clean and free of pollution, from the mountaintops to the ocean.
The event included live entertainment, a native plant giveaway and interactive activities from various organizations; arts and crafts, hands-on-learning and educational exhibits.
Waikiki Aquarium hosted the event from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
