- Beatles song – The song “Drive My Car” is about a woman who asks a man to be her chauffeur and become her famous movie star’s driver. Paul McCartney wrote the song with some help from John Lennon, and it was released on the 1965 album Rubber Soul. McCartney also said that “Drive My Car” was an old blues euphemism for sex.
