Man dead, another in custody following shooting at Economy Inn

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – A man is dead following a late Tuesday morning shooting at a hotel off of Coliseum Blvd, the Fort Wayne Police Department (FWPD) confirms.
Officers were called to the Economy Inn, at 3340 W Coliseum Blvd., on reports of a shooting around 11:30 a.m. Police are currently questioning someone they have in custody.
This is the second fatal shooting of the week after a Sunday evening shooting claimed the life of 64-year-old David Lee Norris of Fort Wayne. Kenneth Hogan Jr., 66, has been charged with murder in connection to Norris’ death, as well as aggravated battery for injuring a woman in the shooting.
