Why Top 100 IFA still picks RL’s pension funds
In an era of the low-cost managed portfolio service (MPS), there might not appear to be space for old-fashioned life company pension funds.
But Royal London’s £53bn Governed range continues to hold its own with advisers, who like the simple message and competitive fees for clients without large pension savings.
‘[The funds] are doing what they say on the tin and doing it in a cost-effective manner,’ said Andrew Elson, director of Citywire New Model Adviser Top 100 advice firm Berry & Oak, which recommends the range to clients.
