PHEAA Sets Series of Educational Webinars to Demystify Financial Aid and Loan Repayment
The Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) has announced a series of enlightening webinars scheduled for March, aiming to assist students and families in navigating the complexities of financial aid and managing education loans more effectively.
The first webinar, “Refinancing Education Debt – Is it Right for Me?”, is set for 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5. This one-hour session targets individuals burdened by student loans, offering insights into refinancing as a potential path to more manageable repayment terms. The webinar is designed for current or former students of any age exploring alternatives to standard repayment plans.
Following this, PHEAA will host “Financial Aid Timeline – Know What to Do When” on Thursday, March 7, at noon, with a repeat session at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26. This presentation aims to provide a roadmap for navigating financial aid processes, highlighting critical timelines and resources necessary for making informed post-secondary education decisions.
The series will continue with “Understanding the Offer Letter and Balances” on Thursday, March 28, at noon. This session is dedicated to helping students and their families decipher offer letters, ensuring they can make informed and financially feasible decisions regarding their education funding.
