The Ohio State Highway Patrol may have a career for you
BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio (WTRF) –
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is looking to hire…
The patrol is holding a regional testing event on June 20th for prospective applicants at Muskingum University in New Concord.
They say applicants need to be between 20 and 39 years old, have a high school diploma or GED and have a valid drivers license.
At the event, applicants can expect to fill out an application and be required to pass a written test before they can take a physical fitness test
Just try the process. A lot of people are intimidated by the thought of having to complete a fitness test or written test. If you don’t believe that you can make it, just give it a shot. And maybe if you don’t make it, you can come back and try it another time. We’re just looking for qualified candidates that can, that are willing to go through the journey of being a state trooper.
Lt. Brian McFarland
Post Commander, Ohio State Highway Patrol
They say applicants need to wear business casual clothing, and bring along fitness apparel and tennis shoes.
Troopers will be on hand to talk about a career with the patrol.
