After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pompton Lakes, Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Harrison Blue Tide 6-5.

Marley Jackson was incredible, going 2-for-3 with a home run, a stolen base, and a double. Another player making a difference was Sarielys Rodriguez, who went 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBI.

Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Harrison, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology is on the road again on Monday to play Butler at 4:00 p.m. As for Harrison, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against St. Mary at 4:00 p.m.
