The owner of a central Iowa video production company is charged with 22 counts of child pornography.Frederick Amundson owns Gate House Pictures in Windsor Heights. According to court documents, someone found the images on Amundson’s computer in 2022 and reported it to police.The computer was then turned over to the FBI. WINDSOR HEIGHTS, Iowa —

The owner of a central Iowa video production company is charged with 22 counts of child pornography.

Frederick Amundson owns Gate House Pictures in Windsor Heights. According to court documents, someone found the images on Amundson’s computer in 2022 and reported it to police.

The computer was then turned over to the FBI. In February, the FBI shared the data it found with police — 22 pictures were found. Court documents reveal the victims’ ages range from 6 to 12 years old

Amundson was arrested on Tuesday. A preliminary hearing is set for April 1.

This is the second metro area business owner to be charged with possessing child porn in recent weeks. In February, Des Moines photographer Jeffrey Gray was arrested by the Des Moines Police and FBI.

Both men’s businesses involved visual mediums — video production and photography.
